It was a challenge to work around the fallen trees after last week's windstorm and the more recent rain, but the trilliums were well worth the effort.

The trilliums were in fine form.

Wonderful weather for a hike in the woods
Several trees where downed by the last wind storm.
First day for trilliums
We encountered a few muddy spots on the trail
