Ian had a perfect day to lead his band of 12 from waterfall (good flow) to trickle, and back. There were lots of families out, as befits the day and the weather.

A total of 15 hikers were out today for a mix of easy walking along the Dofasco Trail and a cardio challenge on the Bruce Trail. Thanks to Ken and Steve for the trail maintenance on the Dofasco Trail.

Our 21 hikers had a mid-February surprise: no ice, just minor mud patches. The complete absence of wind compared to the day before made the stretches along Lk Ontario unusually pleasant.

A harmless-looking crowd, so why do the ducks move offshore??
