Fifteen eager hikers led by Sid, head off in search of the waterfalls. 

Along the way we come across the Pothole.

We ran into Ann's group and stop for a chat.

Melting snow turns creeks into rivers.

Eight hikers joined Ann to hike along some familiar and not so familiar bike trails in the Agreement Forest. The trails were frosty in the morning, but started to soften as the day progressed, making the hiking a bit tiring. It was nice to see the sun!

We met Sid's group at Hilton Falls!!.

The terrain varied from rocky bits to 

a stream crossing.

This 6 km hike follows Spencer Creek past the remains of Upper Canada’s largest industrial community (in 1850).

AGM - Donovan Bailey Waterfront  & Lunch - January 4, 2024

Our Annual General Meeting too place on January 4, 2024, where the executive presented the yearly reports from various members and addressed informal questions.  

 

We said goodbye to Terry Taylor who has decided to retire from her position as Membership Coordinator on the Pathfinder’s board. We are sorry to see Terry go as she has been in the administrative capacity with Pathfinders for over 20 years.  

We all wish Terry all the best in her retirement and thank her for all her contributions to Pathfinders.  You will be missed!

 

During the meeting we welcomed Tom Stephens as our new Membership Coordinator.  We look forward to working with you Tom.

 

Once the meeting was over everyone headed out for a hike through the Donovan Baily Park Loop and Moccasin Trail. 

Some headed back to the centre to warm up while others continued on through the trail, then met up with everyone for lunch at Mo's Restaurant.
