Hilton Falls North, Monday March 6, 2017 - 8:15 am Hike

 Wonderful weather for hiking, just above 0C with a bit of sunshine.

 Liz did a great job of leading the troops .......

but if you want to know who the real leader is  ....

It's just a fungus.

 Why is there ice around the hole in the tree?

Bill suggested it was condensation cause by the resident in the hole.

So I waited to see if the resident would show himself.
