 Welcome to ..... Mike's Monday Morning Mud-fest

 We did a fair bit of 'off track' hiking.

 Despite the weather and mud the Grindstone Creek was spectacular

"Hey Mike, I don't remember this hill last time we hiked here?"

 Mike's merry mudders take a break.

 Grindstone Falls at last ....

Hence the name ... Smokey Valley

 John Giesbrecht led his happy horde of Halton hikers. 19 in all,

 to Rattlesnake Point and the Leech Porter Side Trail 

 Obviously icers were mandatory.

 Rattlesnake Point has some fantastic outlooks, 

unfortunately it was a bit hazy.

 There was still snow on the Nassagaweya Canyon floor.

 We traversed our fair share of rough terrain

No rattle snakes were spotted but we must have frightened 

a young one because he left his rattle behind.
