Hilton Falls, Mon 30 May 2022, 8:45

Eight hikers started out on a beautiful spring day. We were all sweating 2 hours later as it turned into a summer day! Still beautiful, though. The only complaint was that the hike was too short!

Niagara Glen, Mon May 30 2022, 7:45

E

Seven hikers came out to Niagara Glen and hiked the Whirpool and Main Loop Trails. It was a challenging day, but well worth it and we will be back to try out some of the other trails.

We tried, but couldn't avoid the water dripping off of the rocks.

Rhodendron Garden + Port Credit, Thu 26 June 2022, 8:45

The azaleas, redbud and mica cap mushrooms were all in fine form for this annual outing, but it was early for the rhododendrons on this traditional date. Regardless, we had a pleasant walk along the waterfront and extended it into Port Credit on the far side of the river.

Kelso Glen Eden ST, Mon 23 May 2022, 8:45

It was a perfect holiday Monday (Victoria Day) and many mountain bikers were out enjoying the trails. And generally being respectful of slower hikers.

Looks tempting -- maybe another time?

We found a few good clusters of Mayapples

There was storm damage two days earlier; Ian negotiates some of it here.

L-R: Tom, Sue, Ian, Walter, Deb, Karen (our leader), Andrea, Liz. Thanks to the friendly hiker who offered to take the pic.
