Lowville -- River & Ruins, Mon 12 Dec 2022, 8:45

Thirteen hikers enjoyed this creekside trail for the first time in a year. The water was low, making the new, raised boardwalk more of a viewing platform than a necessity.

This does not really count as a hill... 😏

Evidently, a 10 sec delay was not enough for Tom to get in the picture.😜

East Bank -- Shannon Ccreek, Thu 8 Dec 2022, 8:45

Another good turnout (22), another good day (no mud, no ice). Thanks, Ian!

Sixteen Mile Crik

That's seriously steep!

These stairs are officially closed for the season. 😀

Kerncliff - McNally, Mon 5 Dec 2022, 8:45

Michael stepped up on short notice to lead 15 hikers on a delightful hike along the escarpment. And what a perfect location for a subdivision! It could be called Fordlandia. 😁 The hike marked two firsts: Tom used his tripod for the group pic, and we found a mushroom seldom seen in these parts, according to the app Seek.

Joshua Creek North, Thu 1 Dec 2022, 8:45

Twelve hikers turned out on a windy day for their first taste of ice this year. Some wore icers, some did not. All survived, but we expect more ice and more icers as the season progresses.

Natural-looking area in Oakville? Chances are a pipeline is nearby.

Storm-water ponds seldom look this good.

Catching some rays on a cool day.

Slippery bits, but safe along the edges
