Joshua Creek South, Thu 22 Sep 2022, 8:45

Helgy led us on a merry chase, dodging brief showers, a very active wastewater treatment plant, falling apples, and finding a flock of ducks blissfully ignoring the approaching shower.

Singing in the rain ...

It's OK -- this is moving away from us...

Common Buckthorn - a pretty nuisance

Speyside Pear Tree, Mon 19 Sep 2022, 7:45

Richard and fellow hikers seemed to spend a lot of time eating on this hike,

but no doubt they worked up an appetite.

14-Mile Creek, Thu Sep 15, 2022, 8:45

Sid did a masterful job of leading us around assorted obstacles including roadwork, completing a near-perfect loop. Who would have guessed there was an elevation gain of 36M? (Actually, 18 up and 18 back down.)

Tout le gang -- all 20 of us.

Giving the stink eye to the road crew?

Sid must have misread his thermometer: it was 11c this morning.

Helping to pack down the newly poured stone dust.

Pix by Fran, who also led this hike. Busy!

Culham & Riverwood (President's Hike), Thu 8 Sep 2022

There was fine weather and a very good turnout for the President's Hike, very effectively led by Nancy. Ann pitched in with administration and baking. All very important for a successful hike.😄

Halton Forest Extended, Mon 5 Sep 2022, 7:45

The new season gets off to an early and sunny start with a small, dedicated band. Who's missing from the pix? Josie the photographer.
